Character Appearance
A short and skinny girl with black fur covering her body and a long feline tail. Her left eye is blue and her right is green, and at the top of her head is a pair of cat ears that twitch at every little sound she picks up. Her feet are more like paws than human feet, and while her hands still mostly resemble a human's, they do have paw pads against the fur to give her a better grip. She has retractable claws - those on her feet are longer and sharper than those on her hands, though both are just as deadly as the other - and cat-like fangs. She is typically seen wearing her Regulus uniform over her black armor...when she IS seen, that is.

Character Background
Esther had been living in a compound somewhere in the Appalachian mountains, and everything had been fine until a sudden outbreak of a mutated strain of the Bubonic plague. Everyone that it didn't kill was mutated into horrific ghouls, except Esther. By some twist of luck, the girl was only mutated into a random mutant, and was able to hide away as the people she'd once known and called family or friend was either dead around her due to the disease or carted off as a ghoul…by the Enclave. It was they that had released the plague on the compound, and collected data of the results. When they were finished, Esther was left alone in the mountains with nothing but buildings and corpses around her.
That was two years ago. Esther remained on her own since then, except for the mutant dog that showed up maybe two months after the Enclave took away the surviving ghouls. He and Esther remained in the compound, which thankfully had more than enough provisions to perhaps get the two through another lifetime…that is, until it was set upon by Raiders. She had no choice but to leave then or be captured, and wandered aimlessly through the Wasteland for a few months as she tried to figure out what to do with herself, and where to go. Hard places breed harder people, and she found no sanctuary…that is, until she arrived to New Reno. She was given hospitality, food, shelter, clothes. And eventually, a family that was the organization called Regulus Enterprises. Syriana, the leader of Regulus, seemed to see something in the mutant girl that nobody else would, and took her in as her protégé. In time, Esther looked up to the woman as a motherly figure, albeit one that commanded respect and at times blind obedience.
GOBLIN

The mutant dog had found Esther in the desolated compound, and the two were fast companions. The dog seemed to think of her as more or less a pup, and is extremely protective of the girl. He remains faithfully at her side to this day.
